Pengaruh Tekanan Kompaksi Pressure Sintering Terhadap Ketahanan Impak Dan Kekuatan Tarik Limbah Kemasan Aluminium Foil

Abstract


Aluminium foil sachet waste has potential to becomes the eco friendly alternative materials. This research aims to investigate the effect of compaction pressure toward the characteristics of aluminium foil sachet waste. The used method was pressure sintering, where pressing temperature maintained at 135 oC and holding time of 10 minutes . The used of compaction pressure was divided into 2 bar, 4 bar, 6 bar, and 8 bar.  The  tested  mechanical  properties  were  impact  test  and tensile test.

The result shows the addition of compaction pressure will increase   the   tensile   strength,   while   the   impact   strenght decreased. Compaction pressure test at 8 bar showed the highest tensile strength value of 9,01 Mpa and compaction pressure test at 2 bar showed the highest impact strength  value of 21,78 Mpa.
