PEMANFAATAN KOTORAN SAPI SEBAGAI BAHAN BAKAR DALAM PROSES PENGERINGAN RAMBAK DI DAERAH BOYOLALI UNTUK MENGURANGI KETERGANTUNGAN TERHADAP MINYAK TANAH

Abstract


By using biogas, the fuel cost can be reduced so that the production cost decrease and the product price can be more competitive in the market. The cattle feces as the byproduct of the biogas production can be used as fertilizer with higher selling price.

            From this research, it can be concluded that the biogas can be used for solution alternative to decrease the dependency to the kerosene, especially in rambak industries. The application of biogas can reduce the fuel cost up to 63% compared to the using of fuel oil. Meanwhile the cow feces potency can be utilized as fuel by convert it to biogas.

            To increase the performance of the biogas installation, it can be done by two methods, First, biogas resulted from the biogas installation is remove to the other tank and compressed up to 4,5 bar. Second, the existing biogas installation can be upgraded. To utilize the faeces potency up to 200 kg, the 16 m3 biogas installation is required.
