DAMPAK PENERAPAN KONSEP KOTA TAMAN TEKNOLOGI PADA KOTA BARU ‘BUKIT SEMARANG BARU’
Abstract
The new town of Bukit Semarang Baru has been designed as a multi-function district
adopting technological park town concept. Environmental components are predicted to receive
impact at all phases of development, i.e. pre-construction, construction, and operation. To
prevent and to avoid the negative impact of the activity to the environment, a formulation of
integrated impact treatment and environmental management among parties involved in the
development activities is necessary. This also becomes a consideration for the proponent in the
making of the design as well as the augmentation of the expected positive impact.
