APLIKASI TABUNG CAHAYA ATAP UNTUK PENCAHAYAAN DAN VENTILASI RUANGAN

Abstract

Problem which oftenly met on low-cost housing (RSS: Rumah Sangat Sederhana) among other are limited ventilation and less exploited natural illumination. Most RSS design do not consider the changing situation at time of building extension, that lessen the access for natural illumination. Solution given by an appliance which accesses natural ventilation and illumination through a hole at the roof. This appliance works by surface reflection of the tube and then transfers the air vertically as there are air temperature and pressure differences. This research shows how the appliance economically utilized in providing illumination and ventilation solution
