METAPHOR SEBAGAI METODE DESAIN ARSITEKTUR

Abstract

From the scientific side, there is dualism on the substance of architecture, on one side it is rational (tame problem) an the other is intuitive (wicked problem). Problems oftenly arise when the intuitive substance is expected to be rationally described. Rational design strategy usualy utilises analogical metaphor method. The succsess of metaphor designs depend on its type of reference, degree of rationality in analizing the substance of the reference, and the consistence relationship between the idea and the result of the design
