Abstract

Locus in this study with a piece of road Slamet Riyadi. Because the road runs from
Slamet Riyadi Surakarta until Kartosuro, Sukoharjo district, then the locus investigated only
the incoming administration area alone Surakarta The purpose of this study, are: first, To
identify the open spaces (open spaces) on a piece of road Slamet Riyadi from the gate entrance
(gate) to the west until the intersection Gendhingan (Church of St. Peter), which was analyzed
to be used as a gathering place for informal (informal communal space) that is conducive Solo
City community, and can be integrated with the surrounding neighborhoods. Second, To make
