Abstract

This Buddha culture center area is an area that can provide a place for conservation activities of Muara Takus temple at Riau province, such as caring, maintenance, and equipping supporting facilities. The present day, this temple becomes more and more uninteresting. Lastly, it has no respect, uncaring, and losing a few parts. Design problem coming out was how to plan a Buddha culture center area which can give its function as conservation area back. Singa Silpa Prakasa theory is metaphorically approximation chosen because it can be a symbol representing as a whole Buddha. Discussion method used include data collection and tabulation that consist of analysis and synthesis; discussion; and concept formulation. Therefore, this area hopefully keep Muara Takus temple forever. Metaphorical approximation is stated through area system analogy and building performance
