Pengaruh Perlakuan Permukaan Serat Nanas (Ananas Comosus L.Merr) Terhadap Kekuatan Tarik Dan Kemampuan Rekat Sebagai Bahan Komposit
Abstract
Abstract : The study aims to investigate the effect from survace treatment of pineapple fibre (Ananas Comosus L. Merr) to the fiber pull-out and the tensile strength in the composites materials. The composites were made of pineapple fibre (ananas comosus l. meer) and unsaturated polyester type 157 BQTN-EX matrix. Treatment of pineapple fibre (ananas comosus l. meer) were washed in the etanol and NaOH solution with 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% of 2 hours and 4 hours. The specimens were produced using standard JIS K-7601 and JIS R-3420. The tested using tensile strength fibre and fibre pull-out tester. From result of research which to be got highest fibre interesting strength equal to 1587.990 MPa in 2 hours treatment etanol 40% and 1023.371 Mpa in 2 hours treatment NaOH 30%. The effect treatment pineapple fibre to interfacial shear stress was highest interesting strength mean equal to 79.273 MPa and 56.258 MPa in etanol and NaOH solution of 30% and 4 hours treatment.
