PERKEMAHAN SEBAGAI WADAH PENDIDIKAN LINGKUNGAN DI YOGYAKARTA DENGAN PENDEKATAN ARSITEKTUR HIJAU

Abstract

Camping ground which functioned as facility of environmental education is an area of education for the students especially students of junior and senior high school Yogyakarta in order to increase the love of the environment. In addition to the education, the function of the camp is as greening and environmental preservation area. Included are the issues and concerns about how to plan and design a camp that holds activities and to provide facilities for camping, education and recreation, the form of activities, space programs, the concept of physical appearance and location, structure and utility buildings. The methods that used to include literature studies, technology information, empirical studies, surveys and documentation. The purpose of the planning and design process is that environmental damage in Yogyakarta can be reduced so that the potential of nature tourism can be lifted. With the approach of Green Architecture as a manifestation of the environment itself is expressed through the building utility systems.
