Penilaian Tingkat Kandungan Teknologi (Technology Content Assessment) Pengecoran Baja Di CV. X Dan CV. Y Dengan Metode Ahp Dan Technology Contribution Coefficient (TCC)

Abstract


Abstract : The beginning step in developing a strategy of crafting company’s advantage based on the technological concept is to conduct a technology content assessment. This assessment was conducted in metal foundry industrial located in Ceper, Klaten, that is, in CV. “X” and CV “Y”. Comparing the company using different melting process technology (electrical induction furnace and cupola) is expected to be able to asses how effective the company in using its technology. In addition, the research also considers other technological perspective making important contribution to the whole assessment of technological content level and takes any improvement measures to the poor technology component. The technology assessment was conducted using technometric approach and criteria weighing of its technology content using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) approach. The technometric approach with TCC method was used to measure the combined contribution of four technology components (Technoware, Humanware, Inforware and Orgaware) in a transformation process from input to output. From the calculation result of Technology Contribution Coefficient value, CV. “X is superior to CV. “Y”, with the value difference of technoware = 0.246, humanware = 0.086, inforware = 0.039 and orgaware = 0.141.
