Abstract


Abstract : Savonius wind turbine was Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine that had a very high starting torque and didn’t depend on direct wind.. In making the blade there would be the roughness of surface. Then surface of blade roughness was replaced by the fin of front blade, rear blade or both sides. The testing of Wind Turbine was in Wind Tunnel. The change of the speed of wind was done by the change of position of tunnel toward the blower.The best result at surface of smooth blade at both sides yielding comparison of output energy to input energy about 15% . Then it’s can up by blade with rear side fin in 11,8%.
