Pengaruh Dimensi Sudu Impeller terhadap Unjuk Kerja Pompa Pendingin Mesin

Abstract


The objectives of this research are find the eefect of outlet angle variations and coolant type variations to the performance of cooling pump and the performance engine cooling system. four different impellers with different outlet angle ((beta2) i.e 60o, 90o and 120o) used in this research. this research used engine test bed with separated cooling pump. the talen datas are coolant inlet temperatur to the radiator and coolant outlet temperature from the radiator. the result of the research is 60o. outlet angle impeller give the best performance of cooling pump and give the best engine cooling system. the research also show that water give the best cooling service (receive 1234,35 J/s heat from engine) and teh others coolant have the same ability to receive heat from the engine (Top 1 = 926 J/s, prestone = 880,057 J/s and Jumbo =764,459 J/s)
